Up and running

On a Mac

  1. Open the .dmg and drag hypershot into Applications.
  2. Open hypershot and give it Screen Recording when it asks. That's how it sees your screen.
  3. It lives in your menu bar. Take your shot.

On Windows

  1. Run the installer.
  2. Open hypershot from the Start menu.
  3. It lives in the system tray. Take your shot.

Windows protected your PC?

The first time you run the installer, Windows may stop it with a blue box. Click More info, then Run anyway.

hypershot is code-signed. Windows warns about apps it hasn’t yet seen many people install, and stops once more have.
