Moving Resizing
How to transform annotations after creating them.
Moving
Section titled “Moving”Drag to Move
Section titled “Drag to Move”- Select an annotation (click on it)
- Drag it to a new position
- Release to place
Snap to Edges
Section titled “Snap to Edges”When enabled (Settings → Editor → Snap to Edges), annotations snap to:
- Other annotations
- Canvas edges
- Alignment guides
Resizing
Section titled “Resizing”Using Handles
Section titled “Using Handles”- Select an annotation
- Drag a corner or edge handle:
- Corners — Resize width and height
- Edges — Resize one dimension
Maintaining Proportions
Section titled “Maintaining Proportions”- Hold Shift while dragging corners to keep aspect ratio
Rotating
Section titled “Rotating”- Select an annotation
- Look for the rotation handle (above the selection)
- Drag to rotate
Rotation works in free angles — there’s no snapping.
Flipping
Section titled “Flipping”- Select an annotation
- Right-click to open context menu
- Choose:
- Flip Horizontal — Mirror left-to-right
- Flip Vertical — Mirror top-to-bottom
- Multiple items — Select several, then move them together
- Control points — Some shapes (arrows, lines) have special control points for curves
