Annotation Tools
hypershot includes 14 annotation tools and utilities to mark up your screenshots.
The Toolbar
Section titled “The Toolbar”The toolbar appears at the bottom of the editor. Click a tool to select it, or use keyboard shortcuts.
Available Tools

Tool Options
Section titled “Tool Options”When you select a tool, options appear above the toolbar:
- Color — Click to open the color selector
- Size/Width — Adjust stroke thickness
- Style — Tool-specific options (arrow style, fill mode, etc.)
- Shadow — Toggle drop shadow on/off (available on most tools)
Common Actions
Section titled “Common Actions”- Draw — Click and drag on the canvas
- Edit — Double-click an annotation (for text)
- Move — Click and drag an existing annotation
- Resize — Drag the corner or edge handles
- Delete — Select and press Delete
- Quick switch — Use keyboard shortcuts to change tools fast
- Last settings — Tools remember your last used settings
- Modifier keys — Hold Shift to constrain proportions
