How to select, multi-select, and manage annotations.

Selecting One Annotation
Section titled “Selecting One Annotation”- Click on any annotation to select it
- Selected annotations show handles for resizing and rotating
Selecting Multiple Annotations
Section titled “Selecting Multiple Annotations”Method 1: Shift+Click
Section titled “Method 1: Shift+Click”- Hold Shift and click additional annotations
- Each click adds to your selection
Method 2: Marquee Selection
Section titled “Method 2: Marquee Selection”- Click and drag on empty canvas space
- A selection rectangle appears
- All annotations inside are selected when you release
Method 3: Select All
Section titled “Method 3: Select All”- Press Cmd/Ctrl+A to select all annotations
Deselecting
Section titled “Deselecting”- Click empty space — Deselects all
- Escape — Deselects all
- Shift+Click selected item — Removes it from selection
Working with Selections
Section titled “Working with Selections”When multiple annotations are selected:

| Delete | Delete all selected items |
| Copy | Copy all to clipboard |
| Change color | Applies to all selected |
| Change size | Applies to all selected |
Selection Indicator
Section titled “Selection Indicator”When annotations are selected, a badge shows “X Selected” below the toolbar. This helps you know you’re editing existing annotations (not creating new ones).
- Quick select — Press V to switch to Select tool
- Tab through — Press Tab to cycle through annotations
- Precise clicks — Click directly on annotation borders for thin shapes
