Settings
hyperwave is configured entirely from its menu-bar item — there is no settings window. What the menu controls:
Appearance
Section titled “Appearance”Six visualisers render the same audio: Bars (the default), Mirror (thinner bars grown from the centre line, with a spring-driven overshoot), and four more. Switch any time; the strip re-renders in place.

Section titled “Source”What the visualiser listens to — the system’s global audio mix by default, or a specific application when you want to isolate one app’s output.
The notch panel
Section titled “The notch panel”On notched MacBooks the menu bar can push status items underneath the camera housing. hyperwave detects this and offers a notch panel: clicking the strip (what little of it shows) or the panel opens a fuller view of the same visualisation.
Menu items worth knowing
Section titled “Menu items worth knowing”- “System Audio Access…” — always present; grants the CoreAudio capture permission. If the bars are flat while audio plays, start here
- Open at Login — hyperwave registers itself at login by default
- Quit — the strip removes itself immediately
