Option Values Description
Effect Pixelate, Blur, Secure Redaction style
Intensity 0–100% Effect strength
  • Pixelate — Mosaic block effect (classic redaction look)
  • Blur — Gaussian blur (softer, more natural)
  • Secure — Solid color block (complete obscuring)
  • Low (0-30%) — Content still somewhat visible
  • Medium (40-70%) — Content hard to read
  • High (80-100%) — Content completely hidden

Common things to hide:

  • Email addresses
  • Names and personal info
  • Account numbers
  • Passwords (never screenshot these!)
  • License keys
  • Private URLs
  • Phone numbers
  • Secure mode — Best for truly sensitive data
  • Pixelate — Familiar “censored” look
  • Blur — Less harsh, good for de-emphasizing
  • Check carefully — Make sure the content is fully hidden

Blur and pixelate may not be 100% secure — determined attackers might be able to reconstruct some content. For truly sensitive information, use Secure mode (solid block) or avoid screenshotting it altogether.
