Hide sensitive information with blur, pixelation, or solid blocks.

How to Use
Section titled “How to Use”- Select the Redact tool (press X)
- Click and drag over the content you want to hide
- The area is obscured immediately
Options
Section titled “Options”| Option | Values | Description |

Effect Types
Section titled “Effect Types”- Pixelate — Mosaic block effect (classic redaction look)
- Blur — Gaussian blur (softer, more natural)
- Secure — Solid color block (complete obscuring)
Intensity
Section titled “Intensity”- Low (0-30%) — Content still somewhat visible
- Medium (40-70%) — Content hard to read
- High (80-100%) — Content completely hidden
What to Redact
Section titled “What to Redact”Common things to hide:
- Email addresses
- Names and personal info
- Account numbers
- Passwords (never screenshot these!)
- License keys
- Private URLs
- Phone numbers
- Secure mode — Best for truly sensitive data
- Pixelate — Familiar “censored” look
- Blur — Less harsh, good for de-emphasizing
- Check carefully — Make sure the content is fully hidden
⚠️ Security Note
Section titled “⚠️ Security Note”Blur and pixelate may not be 100% secure — determined attackers might be able to reconstruct some content. For truly sensitive information, use Secure mode (solid block) or avoid screenshotting it altogether.
