Use your operating system’s share panel to send screenshots.

How to Share

1. Finish editing your screenshot
2. Click the Share button
3. Choose a destination from the share panel

macOS Share Panel

Available options (depending on your setup):

• AirDrop — Send to nearby Apple devices
• Messages — Send via iMessage/SMS
• Mail — Create a new email with image attached
• Notes — Save to Apple Notes
• Third-party apps — Slack, Discord, etc. (if they support sharing)

Windows Share Panel

Available options:

• Nearby sharing — Send to nearby Windows devices
• Email — Default mail app
• Installed apps — Apps that register for sharing

Tips

• AirDrop is fast — Great for sending to your phone or colleague’s Mac
• App-specific — Some apps may offer additional options
• File created — Share creates a temporary file, then cleans up

Alternative: Drag & Drop

You can also drag directly from hypershot:

1. Click and drag from the canvas (or drag handle if available)
2. Drop into another application

Works great for:

• Dropping into Slack or Discord
• Adding to documents
• Uploading to websites
